November 15, 2011: MVSHRM welcomes Laura Harshbarger and Steve Robinson to talk about "Dealing with DIfficult People/Bullying in the Workplace."  This meeting will take place at the Holiday Inn on Burrstone Road and is a Breakfast Meeting. 

October 18, 2011: Please join us for our monthly meeting. October presents Susan Post from the SHRM Speaker's Bureau discussing "The Future of HR: What's next for the Profession?"  This meeting will take place at the Holiday Inn on Burrstone Road and will be a Luncheon.  This meeting is also worth 1 strategic credit!

September 20, 2011: This month's meeting will be a half day seminar where Mr. Joseph Jakubowski from the NYS DOL will discuss Labor Standards Requirements. We would like to thank Seniors Helping Seniors for sponsoring this seminar.  This meeting is approved for 3.50 General hrci Credits.  More information will follow.

August 4, 2011: Members of MVSHRM will be pouring at Saranac Thursday.  Come out and say hi while enjoying the music of 3 Inch Fury and a tasty Saranac beverage!

June 21, 2011:  This month we are holding our Ursula Flagg Award for Human Resource Excellence Program.  This year's recipients are Pam Senecal and BNY Mellon.  Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Ann Marie Murray, President of Herkimer County Community College.

May 17th 2011: May's meeting presents Sarah Zamiello of Upstate Cerebral Palsy who will be speaking on the topic of Leadership Skills for Supervisors.  This meeting is a great one to invite your fellow supervisors to!  This meeting is approved for 2.00 hrci credits.

April 12th 2011: This month we present Michael J. Sciotti.  Mr Sciotti will be talking about the Wage Theft Protection Act and its Implications for NY Employers.  This meeting has been approved for 2.00 hrci credits.
